Free online parent sessions: Could you tell if your child was being exploited?
Park Lane Practice and Phoenix Surgery are pleased to share details of two free online awareness sessions being delivered on behalf of Avon and Somerset Constabulary. These sessions are led by Child Exploitation Prevention Officer Andri Nicolaou and are designed to help parents and carers better understand child exploitation and how to respond to concerns.
Session dates and times

  • 18 March, 7:00–8:30pm
  • 30 March, 10:30am–12:00pm

What the sessions will cover
You will learn about the different forms of child exploitation and how offenders may groom and exploit children both online and offline. The sessions will highlight:

  • Common warning signs that a child may be at risk
  • Practical steps you can take to help keep children safe
  • What to do and where to seek support if you have concerns

Who should attend
These sessions are suitable for parents, carers, and anyone supporting children and young people.
