Our doctors provide general medical services, as well as specialist services such as child health monitoring, maternity and contraceptive services. To make an appointment for any of the clinics and services below please give us a call or drop in and speak to reception.

Cervical Cytology (Smear Tests)

To reduce the risk of cervical cancer, smear tests should be performed every 3 years (unless otherwise indicated by the Doctors) between the ages of 25-65. You will be informed by computerized letter that your smear is due. Smears can be done at the surgery by the nurse and appointments can be made via reception.

 

Children’s Clinic

Medvivo, a company that provides several different medical services throughout Wiltshire, runs a children’s clinic in Swindon. The clinic cares for youngsters, toddlers and infants suffering from common colds, aches or pains but not life-threatening conditions, that are unable to get an appointment with their own GP.
The clinic runs from Monday to Sunday between 8am and 8pm.
To access the service you must telephone a specialist nurse who will make an appointment time with you.

Free Chlamydia Test

If you are between the ages of 15- 25 you can have a free Chlamydia test … This is done on a urine sample. The results are confidential and can be sent to your mobile phone. Ask the doctors, advanced nurse practitioners or nurses for the test. For more information about Chlamydia and the national screening programme visit www.nhs.uk.
